“We had played Dave’s tune Scandal many times with the Sound Prints band on various tours and at the Village Vanguard. It’s a tune I know pretty well and it’s always interesting to hear tunes played in different contexts, especially with some of the people I hadn’t played with before or had played with very little. I think everyone brought something special to the table.”
